Pleated Blinds are a popular choice for conservatories as some of the fabrics do have insulating qualities, keeping your conservatory cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. They can be manufactured into a variety of shapes and sizes, which makes them particularly suitable for conservatory roofs.

Roof Blinds are operated by a wand, which clips in to your blind for you to pull or push into position.
Free hang pleated Blinds are operated by a cord, which locks and unlocks as you pull the cord outwards or inwards.

The beauty of a Roller Blind is that from a huge selection of fabrics design, finishing shapes, poles, braids, finals and pulls, you design your own blind, to complement your interior design.

There are two ways your Roller blind can operate,
By a side winder control, pulling the control chain lowers or raises your blind, you choose whether you would like your control on the right or left.
By spring pull, gently pull the blind outwards to release the tension and allow the blind to move freely to the desired height and release the pull cord.

The range of fabrics continues to grow as does the popularity of the Roman blind; we have some beautiful fabrics to complement any interior.

The Roman blind works in much the same way as the Roller blind, the sidewinder control chain lowers or raises your blind, you choose whether you would like the control on the right or left. Roman Blinds are available with either a standard or a black out lining.

These soft fabric Blinds act as a good insulator keeping more heat in your room, this can be important in your more airy areas such as halls and landings. Roman blinds can be measured to fit outside or inside your recess.

Product names such as Intu, Perfect Fit and Iso blinds are relatively new innovations, designed to compliment windows previously difficult to blind, such as tilt and turn windows, tilt and glide patio doors and inwardly opening doors where clearance is a problem. Both a pleated fabric and narrow venetian slats are used in these products.

 

A Venetian Blind is a versatile blind as it gives you the ability to angle the slats for privacy or solar control.

The Venetian works with two controls a cord which you pull down on to adjust the height of the blind and a wand or cord which angle the Blinds slats.

Venetian Blinds are manufactured predominantly in two materials, aluminium and wood.

Vertical Blinds are one of the most versatile blind designs. Generally there are two controls that operate a Vertical blind, a chain control, to angle the louvres and the cord control, to open and close the Blind. There is also a mono control that both pulls your blind and twists to angle the louvres, this design eliminates the need for hanging controls, therefore improving child safety.

Being able to control the angle of the louvres ensures you can control the amount of privacy you require and prevent sun damage to carpets, fabrics and furnishings; you also have the ability to fully open the Blinds for ease of cleaning. You can choose whether to open your fabrics from the centre, or pull the fabrics to the left or right, although this is often determined by how your windows are configured.

Woodweave Blinds are made from natural woods and interwoven with reeds to create a natural look.

Woodweave Blinds are available in two styles Roll up and Roman which comes with one side winder operating control to adjust the height of your blind.

General Safety

We would advise as a safety precaution never to have blind controls by a child’s bed or cot, for patio doors or any window we can shorten controls upon request. Cleats and hooks can also be used to keep controls out of the reach of children.
